Same again here but slightly different error to yesterday. Now reaches 17% (yesterday reached 40%) then errors. On access errors listed in log (as mentioned on forum yesterday). Bunny

Are the update servers having problems again? My laptop with ver 9.1 ZASS has not gotten any updates since yesterday - Error: Download Error.
My desktop with ver 8.0 ZASS is getting updates just fine, no problems.

Is there a central place to find version numbers of the latest DAT files (both AV and Spyware) to check against those shown in ZASS/Overview/Product Information?
The link I had for this information no longer works, and a quick search of the forum yields no conclusive results. I apologize if I missed it, as I know you're busy -- jclarkw (In case it matters, I'm still running ZASS 8.0.400.020, and I -- like everyone else apparently -- am having trouble getting AV updates for a few days.) |

I don't think the answer you got is quite true. My desktop PC which is still running ver 8.0 ZASS just got an auto AV/AS update. I mean within the last 2 minutes.
ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:8.0.400.020 TrueVector version:8.0.400.020 Driver version:8.0.400.020 Anti-virus engine version:6.0.2.678 Anti-virus signature DAT file version:996378806 Anti-spyware engine version:5.0.209.0 Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200911.6825 AntiSpam version:6.0.0.1429 My laptop which is running ZASS 9.1 has not gotten any updates since 10:30PM EST last night.

TrueVector security engine version 9.0.083.000 Driver version 9.0.083.000 Anti-virus/anti-spyware engine version 8.0.1.33 DAT file version 996434464 AntiSpam version 6.0.0.2083 Since I installed the latest version of ZASS I've noticed that it only seems to update the anti-virus signatures, i.e. no anti-spyware signatures are being updated. In addition, ZASS only seems to scan for anti-virus, it doesn't look for any anti-spyware. Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I missing something? Regards |
