Default Cache Cleaner?

Hello,

Today I upgraded to Zone Alarm Security Suite Ver. 9.1.008.000 and it seems to be working just fine, but I have one question...

What happened to the "Privacy" Menu and the Cache Cleaner? I use the cache cleaner regularly... is there anyway to get this function back?

Thank you,
Robin Monroe

I'd recommend the 'free' CCLeaner as a good substitute.

We agree. One of the reasons my husband and I purchased ZoneAlarm over other products was for the Privacy feature to delete the cache regularly. Having to use yet another software product is inexcusable when the ZoneAlarm we purchased for many years had this feature.

Please put this feature back in ZoneAlarm or we will purchase another product when our license is up for renewal in a few months. Meanwhile, we have uninstalled ZoneAlarm 9 and reinstalled ZoneAlarm 8.

Thank you.

Official Note: To streamline in an age where web privacy controls are built into the most popular browsers and email attachment scanning is included in the major email applications, privacy controls and inbound MailSafe have been removed with this release.

I recomend the following FREE Tool to replace your missing feature:

*** NEW CCLEANER 2.25.1025

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

Cleans the following:
  • Internet Explorer
  • Firefox
  • Google Chrome
  • Opera
  • Safari
  • Windows - Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Temporary files and Log files.
  • Registry cleaner
  • Third-party applications
  • 100% Spyware FREE
