Ever since I updated to the most recent version of ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite, I get high latency in Lord of The Rings Online. I have the program set to super trusted and 4 checks across on the side. Previous to updating Zonealarm I did not have this issue. I can totally shut Zonealarm down and the problem goes away. I have even gone so far as to remove the program(lotroclient.exe) from the list and let Zonealarm redetect it without any luck. Any help at this point is appreciated. Oh I can run WoW without issues.

Hi!
if you see that no users here have ideas about it, you can try via the ZA technical support. Link in my signature. Best to contact them when they are open, so you can be helped on the spot. Cheers, Fax

Ever since I installed the most recent version of ZoneAlarm for Win7, I've been getting BSODs when playing LotRO. Uninstall ZA, and no BSODS.

I've had several BSODs since this afternoon. I think i've traced the problem to the on-access scanning on the antivirus program. Turning off ZA didn't do anything as it left the AV/AS still running.
it may also have something to do with my games directory being a 1.5Tb striped drive made from 3 500Gb drives and mounted to the Games directory on C:\. So the files that are being scanned have portions of them on 3 different drives. |
